The Mgahinga Gorillas have returned to Mgahinga Gorilla Park which is good news and you now can track mountain gorillas in two areas of Uganda which is Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla Park.

Uganda has over 400 of the world’s critically endangered estimate of 880 (November 2012) mountain gorilla population that has been under protection since 1964. There are 12 habituated mountain gorilla group families open for visitor tracking here.
