Lifetime Experience Safaris cannot guarantee that your stay at an accommodation facility will be 100% satisfactory. We can only go on the experience of our guests and their comments and personal visits. When we recommend a lodging facility it is because many of our customers have spoken or written favorably of this facility. We recommended that you do not have to base expectations on the experience of your country where "everything is available". Try being flexible and have a better understanding of your lodging choice, let the differences be part of your African Adventure. You will be enjoyably surprised by the quality of service you will receive.
This is one of the favorite lodges that you can choose to stay at. The camp is composed of a main lodge which includes a restaurant, bar, lounge and campfire overlooking the tropical Rain Forest.
By air, Charter Flights can be arranged from Entebbe or Kajjansi air field to Kisoro, with a road transfer from the airstrip in Kisoro to the lodge.
By road, one can travel from Kampala, crossing the Equator, through Mbarara to Kabale.
Kampala – Kabale = 427km 7-8hrs
Once you reach Kabale, break off and drive past Muko to Nshongi where the lodge is located.
The lodge cabins are spacious and very comfortable and well supplied. They have 8 cottages with two of these being double-roomed family units for people traveling together. All these have wonderful setting areas to relax and unwind and each room has its own en suite bathroom, with hot and cold water, as well as solar lights and a cozy fireplace. The lodge is owner managed where the focus is on quality service, good food and comfort and the staff is so warm and welcoming.
A full breakfast every the day break to send you off to your gorilla trek. Upon returning in the afternoon, you may choose to relax in the main lodge with wine or a drink of your choice among the one available. You can also go on a community walking tour of the area with a staff member and enjoy the locals greeting and sometime sing and dance for you.
