Lake Kitandara Tented Camp (Moderate) Established in 1994 with thousands of satisfied guests over those years. There are 20 nicely furnished tents. The bathrooms have hot and cold water. 24 hour solar power. Nice verandas overlooking the forest where you can at times observe Mountain Gorillas nearby.
Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Budget) Bandas self contained (cabins) and self contained tents, basic furnishings, African and International Food is prepared. The beauty is that is a project of Buhoma Community and supports the community and that certainly is a good .
Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge $$$ (Up-Market) “Best place for trekking with the Bitukura and Oruzogo Mountain gorilla groups” Don't make the mistake of staying in Buhoma – 3hrs away, ... (or elsewhere outside Ruhija) if you get permits for the Bitukura or Oruzogo Gorilla groups. You would stay at this lodge and in Ruhija for the views alone are worth it and skip the more touristy area of Buhoma
Cuckooland Lodge (Moderate)Opened in 2011, 4 en-suite Tent Facility is located near Ruhija but also you can access the Buhoma area for Gorilla Tracking. One of the primary selling points of this lodge, is intimacy, quietness in the Rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
